Potato Country Idaho

Potato country, here come the Nancy Boys! This time the boys are headed to Boise Idaho to solve another case. What will it be? Well that’s up to the audience at the Gem Center for the Arts Saturday January 11th.

This will be the first time the Nancy Boys have performed in Idaho, so they’ve made sure to offer two shows - 8pm & 10pm with local opening act “Nice! Cool Beans.”

They’re also bringing a couple workshops with them as well. Led by improv veteran (and Nancy Boy Frank) Nick Condon, these two workshops have something for everyone - experienced and novice improviser alike.

Improv: The Musical takes improvisers on the wild ride that challenges and expands. Coaching improvisers to dramatize their scenes and express themselves through songs.

“Why Do We Care?” focuses on character and motivation, keys to a great scene but still illusive to many improvisers. Exploring the depth of character through emotional investment and heightening, Nick helps to make strong choices that support your partner and add value to scenework.

Whether you’re an improv fanatic or just love to laugh, The Nancy Boys have brought a weekend full of workshops and shows to tickle your funny bone and expand your play.
